The multidisciplinary agency e27 in Berlin, led by Tim Brauns, is known for creating intelligent and sustainable design solutions.Their designs seamlessly blend high functionality with unique technical innovations, resulting in timeless everyday objects. A prime example of this is B.lux's Overlay collection, where users can easilyadjust the lightingeffect by simply detaching the luminaire from its upper rings.

Carlo Colombo

Carlo Colombo graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1993 and began his career focusing primarily on the design and marketing of industrial products, graphics, and exhibitions, collaborating with leading Italian design brands.Since 2011, he has been teaching design at the University of Beijing. In 2013, he co-founded A++ Architecture Studio in Lugano with Paolo Colombo, specializing in interiors and large-scale projects worldwide, with offices in Lugano, Zurich, New York, Miami, and Dubai. His work has been showcased in exhibitions at venues such as the Weserburg Museum of Modern Art in Bremen(1995), the Museum of Decorative Arts in Cologne (1996), the Milan Triennale (2016), and the MARCA Museum of the Arts in Catanzaro (2017).

Karim Rashid

Karim Rashid is one of the most influential designers of his generation, with over 4,000 designs in production, more than 300 awards, and projects in 40 countries, solidifying his status as a design legend. His stunning CHIN CHIN collection challenges perceptions, featuring flawless installations made of crystal components shaped into golden drink glasses suspended from glass rings and finished with a gradient nanocoating. The result is a perfect paradox – the glasses appear full, yet they are empty, hanging upside down without spilling. This design combines opulence and modernity, creating a striking focal point for any interior.

David Abad (born in Barcelona in 1967) led his own entrepreneurial venture, DAB, from 1997 to 2011, focusing on the design and production of lighting fixtures and custom lighting projects. In 2012, he established a new studio, David Abad Design, where he collaborated with companies across various industries.Notably, he worked with the lighting brand B.lux, serving as creative director until 2015 and contributing both his past and new lighting designs to the company.

Innovation in form and the use of new materials are two defining characteristics of designer Werner Aisslinger (born in Berlin,1964). His pioneering use of new technologies has played a key role in his reputation as a trailblazer in introducing materials like polyurethane foam into the world of product design. This very material is used in the creation of the Hoodie luminaire by B.lux.

Nava and Arosio Studio

Nava + Arosio was founded by Paolo Emanuele Nava (born 1989) and Luca Maria Arosio (born 1988) after they met while studying at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) in Milan. They graduated in 2012 with a joint project, “Maniacal Mirrors,” in Product Design. In 2014, they established Nava+Nava Design Studio, which later evolved into Nava + Arosio Studio in 2018.

Founded in Basel in 1978, Herzog & de Meuron is a partnership led by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron. The firm has worked on a diverse range of projects, from private homes to large-scale urban designs. Their portfolio includes numerous prestigious public facilities, such as museums, stadiums, and hospitals, as well as notable private projects like offices, laboratories, and apartment buildings. Their work has earned them several prestigious awards, including the Pritzker Architecture Prize (USA) in 2001, the RIBA Royal Gold Medal (UK), the Praemium Imperiale (Japan) in 2007,, and the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize (USA) in 2014.
